About Hugo's Good Vibes.

I started my business in January 2018, with a loan from my father, Paul!

He helps me out now and again with admin, set-up and client management, when I am busy... generally, he makes a great "handlanger"! 😉

I bought most of my DJ and sound equipment from Tom's Music in Braamfontein, due to the excellent quality of products. I purchase all my music from iTunes and therefore the necessary royalties are paid to the musicians.

I focus mainly on events in and around the Johannesburg area, but travel is also possible. I am also happy to do smaller (more intimate) gigs and events if this is something you require, e.g. dinner parties.

I am an unobtrusive DJ and happy to leave any announcements over the "PA" to you.

My aim is to read the mood of the party and play relevant music as the event progresses... but happy to use your playlist too!

Any song requests are also welcome... it is your party afterall!
